New Biome Updates Coming (June 22) - You may be affected

There will be some SIGNIFICANT changes (see below) to the map, following the next major update, please make sure you are prepared for the update.

Blue area == Changes occurring in this area are to highlight the new Snow Biome. The previous biome will receive a touch-up / some alterations and adjustments which may effect your base. So there are some slight landscape/terrain changes made throughout the biome.

Orange area == This is the new Redwood biome. It will be replacing the previous existing
Jungle/Mountain area that was here before.

Green area == This is the swamp biome that will turn into Redwood.

While I'll be trying to move my animals to safe ground for the change, would it be possible to maybe do reimbursement for any major thing I lose ie industrial cooker?

This is a post from one of the dev's...

" Aha don't worry, we're not gonna nuclear-winter the Hidden Lake! The changes map will be updated soon, Hidden Lake area will remain as-is.
Also we'll be more clear shortly about which swamp area will be affected, it's actually relatively little (some swamp area is being reclaimed for other biome usage).
Also note soon next week we'll update the in-game environment with 3d markers indicating areas that will be undergoing a change."

My playark Journey...

- Go hard for 2-3 weeks to get established.
- Find out about upcoming wipe.
- Don't really play for week or so waiting.
- No compensation.
- Wipe.
- Go hard for 2-3 weeks to get established.
- Find out about upcoming Biome extension maybe destroying base.
- Upcoming Biome extension kills no 1 reason for building in that spot anyway.
- Don't really play for 3 weeks or so, waiting.
- No compensation.

And I thought the Survival part was supposed to be in game.

Apart from maintenance logons, I'll catch you all next month, don't have it in me to start again atm.

New snow biome will remain the same mostly, maybe new trees rocks etc, you should be ok

Far out i think im right on that edge. maybe its time to move my base that would take a normal player 5 mins to make but me a whole week haha
