You can change those LED's with the ones you pointed out if you are are good with pc's/handy.

The monitor you have in your cart is amazing but wouldn't be well matched with the 1070 graphics card. The more pixels you have on a monitor the harder it is for a graphics card to drive it.

The best current "matches" are as follows;

1080p - Nvidia 1070
1440p - Nvidia 1080
2160p - Nvidia 1080ti

The monitor in your cart is in the "ultra wide" bracket and falls between 1440p and 2160p, you would need a 1080 at minimum to drive it well, I noticed you said earlier that you want a 1070 but the pc in your cart has a 1080?

If you wish to save some money my recommendations would be to stick to an i5 cpu, they will be more than capable to play ark and theres no real proven difference between an i5 and an i7 when it comes down to gaming performance. I would also recommend that you stick with this monitor https://www.pccasegear.com/products/350 ... g-monitor/ if you wanted to save some extra cash.

Overall though, your selection looks good.

Just to confirm, if I want to stick with the PC I have chosen, does that then mean it will run ok on the curved screen? As in better than the one you have suggested above?

Thats a tough question to answer.

the monitor you have chosen will run ark beautifully but your frame rate will be on the lower end due to its resolution. If you matched the monitor with the 1080 as shown in your cart, on epic settings in Ark you would probably get around 30-40 fps in game (out in the open) and less when your in your base.

If you matched it with the cheaper monitor, you would probably get between 50-60fps in game (out in the open).

50-60fps is great for ark and is where you should be aiming, if you would be happy to run the game at high settings rather than epic, I would recommend you go for the more expensive monitor.

Don't get a Ryzen...

Spend the extra few quid and get something i5 (top K model) or an i7...

Ryzen while still good is not going to be worth it in the long run like a more expensive Intel CPU will be. I've only just upgraded from my 6 year old i5 3570k and that is still going strong and beats out the best Ryzen in every single gaming benchmark there is, even more so when overclocked.

AMD is still a joke.

no no no lol. $4,000 for a rig is pretty steep. Unless you want a 4k ultra settings rig.

2-2.5k is the max settings mark for new games these days. As long as it has a good i7 + a GTX 1070 or better your good to go.
Remember savings can be made on RAM, i've tested DIMMS from DDR 400 all the way up to DDR4 3200 and in most cases the difference between $100 RAM and $200 RAM is nothing to the gamer at all. Only really usefull for video encoding etc. even then the gain is a bees dick when dealing with DDR4 2800 to DDR4 3200 or above. Also avoid buying a 1tb SSD unless you really really desire the extra room, they can still come down in price before I consider them reasonable. I have a 120gig for windows and programs and a 500gig for games. Everything else that doesn't get a FPS boost from the SSD goes on to one of many 1tb HDDs.

Either way the newest link is a stupid powerful machine and will serve you fine for a good while. That monitor you have chosen makes me a little jelly TBH, not sure how the curve will go but I doubt it will be bad if it costs that much.
