Occasional rollback and constant rubberband

I started playing on this server since the wipe, I feel its got great community, very detailed rules, and its got potential to attract more players. well done to start with!

Recently I tried to invite few mates to play in this server but failed to do so because of the server performance.
The rubberband keeps on happening even with only 20 people in the server. I understand it's an alpha game etc etc but I' rarely experienced these in other servers. Neither the rubberband nor the rollback. I've experienced the rollback about 3 to 5times in this server.

Today I logged in for only an hour at 4pm. Went to a cave using a good lvl wolves (150 wild with good stats) to tame beetles. Mission accomplished, went back to base, logged off. Logged back at 10pm to find out that I died, my wolves died and I tamed no beetles.

I can protect my base from wild dinos dropped into my base by having turrets but I can't stop having (good) tames getting killed due to the rollback while I was offline ( reverted my character and dinos to when I was at a hostile area of the map).

I've looked at the graph on Munki's post but it doesn't explain frequent rollback.

i dont think anyone else has experienced a player rollback before?

Server rollback. Never have I mentioned that it only happened to me.

Server rollbacks happen because when the server crashes or reboots it loads the last save file, server is saved every 50mins (if i do it more you will have a lot more rubber banding when it saved)
