So as for the next wipe...

Numbers are dead again it seems, the last lot of settings didn't keep them around very long.

Can we try to the scrub server idea?

The island server has no building damage and 24/7 PVP (basic rules) and the Rag server has full base damage 24/7 (limited rules).

Making people have safe map to breed lines and what ever on and a fight map that you have to venture out into to get the other dinos...

Lets do it!

Yep I sure do, that's the attraction behind it, a safe place for all the stuff and a risk server with all the extra jazz on it.

It's not like you have the players to worry about. They obviously don't fancy the current settings to much.

The key reasons for low population on Munki's servers as of late is two-fold: Ragnarok server performance and player exploitation. Ragnarok currently suffers from horrendous lag when more than 25 people are playing (made even worse when the server has multiple large bases, something which is guaranteed to happen on a high rate server). The Dev team have released a short term fix for this and have said there is a larger optimisation in the works likely to deploy mid November. The players who were exploiting the game because they were unable to win in fair PVP have since been banned. You may have noticed neither of these reasons have anything to do with current server configuration.

While I am not playing this server currently, I would imagine that I may return if a fresh wipe was to occur to coincide with the deployment of the new DLC. To wipe before then seems to be relatively pointless, as the majority of Ark unofficial players are awaiting Aberation or playing short wipe 20x+ servers.
