Hello All,
I know some of you are wondering how to record your screen while playing, either for youtube or evidence...

I have attached a program called Gilisoft Screen Recorder, its very simple to use and provides a good quality video.
Please note this program will only record the primary monitor (if you have more than one screen), you can see what’s recording when you open the program and see the red borders on the edge of the screen.

Below are some settings to help get you started:

Select a drive with large storage space, as these files can get quite big.

Click on the Video Tab at the top,
Change the format from FLV to AVI (or not)
Change the Quality to Medium so the file isn’t as large (or not)

Click on the Audio Tab at the top,

Click on the Cursor Tab at the top,
Uncheck the "Mouse click sound effect." to stop the video recording a sound every time the mouse button is clicked.

If you want to pay for it Bandicam is also a pretty good way to record it. But your method is free so its probably better.

For windows 8 and above, you get a screen video/image recorder by hitting the following keys [win}+g

I found no difference between bandicam and the one supplied with windows

you're probably the only one that can answer that as each machine is different, but make sure you have plenty of space as 15mins was like 3GB for me
