[Closed]Server Wipe in June/July?

its been a while since we have had a clean start and server pop seems to be getting lower than normal, and i believe some of the lag issues are from a corrupt save file (as it keeps making a "CorruptBackup" everytime it saves, but the data is still there might just have trouble finding it) .... but i digress...

Would you like a server wipe? if yes or no please let me know your thoughts.

just fielding thoughts at the moment, doesnt mean it will happen.
and let me know if any of the server stats need adjusting?

Server to be wiped on Saturday at 8pm (or earlier), Base protection will be enabled during the Sunday and Weekend after.

i was thinking of having dino battles (i spawn in exact same level dinos) and winners get a few items to start with.

I'm on the fence about this - if a wipe is absolutely necessary due to corrupt save file (ie it's definitely causing lag), then it's unavoidable and we should wipe. However I want to play, and if we have to wait some months then any playing in the meantime feels like a waste of time - I would rather have it done ASAP/within few days, as right now anything I do from here on out until wipe will be absolutely pointless.

If possible would we be able to reserve the game saves, wipe, and if this doesn't resolve the lag issues then restore our saves?

If it has to be done do it now, so we don't waste more time...

Backing up the saves would be great, if the issues aren't fixed.

Question... does this mean character lvls would be wiped as well?

Answer... yes, yes they will be.

The saves can easily be backed up, but you won't know if the lag wss fixed until as lot of people start using the server...

Yes characters will also be wiped, as I had an issue with a character previously causing the server to crash, I would like to start fresh, so everything is new.

I am not going to rush into this as I want to get people's thoughts before making a decision, if u get a majority census early on then I will wipe earlier, otherwise I want to give non regular players a chance to respond.

None regular players have nothing to lose, the server honestly doesnt have many non regulars, those of which are nonregulars from what ive seen started a few days ago.

I agree if this is a go it needs to happen within a few days or hours not a few weeks or months as there is no point in playing until then.

I'd change my vote if I can - I voted to leave, however upon more contemplation I'd go in the 'maybe' category - however I'd prefer it to happen sometime next week, and go from there
