The server needs to be updated to the latest version of ark.. The reason you can't see it is cause it's running a different version to your client

Sorry for the delay, been camping with the kids and no access to a computer, server is now updated, sorry to the people that were playing.

I actually held off on going out and taming an Argent @ around 7:45-ish pm, since I figured the server would have gone down for the 8pm update. we waited around until 8:20pm and the server still hadn't gone down, nor any announcements in game as to when it would happen. I was also checking the forums constantly for some kind of status on it there.
I don't mind that the server be taken down for these updates, I just wish I could have had a more heads up notofication of it before I'm disconnected, as I didn't see any kind of in-game announcement to warn me I'll be disconnected, I would have liked to secure myself before so. When the server did go down and I was disconnected, I was actually out away from base, flying around collecting meats for the Argent that we decided to go tame, since we thought the server wasn't going to go down anytime soon.
Hopefully I can recover from this little hiccup without having lost too much.
