Official servers getting difficulty set to 5

Hey guys,

I have just heard that official server diffculty value will be changed to 5 which means that all maps inclusive of SE will be seeing 150 max wild dinos.


Munki, would it be possible to change the difficulty level of playark to mirror officials?

From my understanding and from the information at http://ark.gamepedia.com/Difficulty

TheIsland server is currently at a difficultyOffset of 1.0 which equates to the difficulty value of 4.0 which makes the wild dino level a max of 120.
If the option comes available i will be raising it, but i havent seen any notes regarding the level increase?
i believe if i keept it at 1.0 it will increase the value to 5 when it comes available, per devs notes.

So Officials are now seeing the 150's as promised.

It looks like there isnt a huge amount of info for server owners at this point. I found the below thread which may be useful to you Munki but its all jibberish to me.

ok i have applied the OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5, will be applied next reboot. we shall see if we start getting higher levels.
